Convert first if the photo is an iPhone HEIC, then sharpen if it is blurry, cut out the background, resize, and shrink the file last. Skip any step your photo does not need.

They can, depending on the tool. In our tests the background remover did not change the product's pixels, and the photo enhancer made what is already there sharper without writing new letters on a sharp label, though at 2× it changed some print about 5 pixels tall in a small photo. When you tap another button or type an instruction, the AI photo editor makes a new picture from yours, so it is the one to compare with your original most closely. The “White background” button does not redraw the product: we tapped it on 1 photo of a tea tin, and none of the 284,599 pixels of what it cut out (the tin, the cup and the sprig) differs from the original, so the label text and the logo are the same as in the original. But 1 photo cannot tell us it will be the same every time. Check these every time:
The caption tool does not touch a picture; it places the text you type into the caption.
The GenLabs site asks you to check Thai text and product details before you use any image. The image resizer and the cropper work in your browser, so the file is not uploaded. The image compressor and the image converter send the file to GenLabs' server to process it, and the result comes back to download. The other AI tools also process on the server. Change background sends the photo to the server for the cut-out; changing the colour or adding a background picture happens in the browser.

Change background did not redraw the product in our test: it used the pixels of your photo, resized to fit the frame.
