You can schedule posts inside each platform, but the rules differ. Facebook is scheduled in Meta Business Suite, from 20 minutes to 29 days ahead. Instagram is scheduled in the Instagram app (public accounts, up to 30 days ahead). TikTok is scheduled on the TikTok website on a computer. Per TikTok's help page, that is from 15 minutes to 10 days ahead, and a scheduled post cannot be edited. This article takes the three step by step. The facts come from Meta's and TikTok's own help pages (read 30 Sep 2026). Then it shows how to schedule all three in one place with GenLabs. Before you press schedule, run the four checks in section 5. A scheduled post goes out as you wrote it. If the price or the stock changes before the post date, you have to go back and change it yourself.

Schedule a Facebook post in Meta Business Suite, step by step

Meta Business Suite schedules posts to Facebook and Instagram from one place. You need either Full control or Content permission for the Page or Instagram account you post to.

On a computer

  1. Go to Meta Business Suite > Content (เนื้อหา) > Create post (สร้างโพสต์).
  2. Choose where to post, such as your Facebook Page or your Instagram profile.
  3. Add photos or a video, then write your text. (Posting to Instagram allows up to 10 photos.)
  4. Turn on Scheduling options (ตัวเลือกการกำหนดเวลา) and choose the date and time.
  5. To schedule for when followers are online, click Active times (เวลาที่ใช้งาน). Meta suggests times based on when followers were most active on Facebook and Instagram over the past 7 days.
  6. Click Schedule (กำหนดเวลา).

See what you scheduled in the Planner tab (ตัววางแผน), or under Content > Posts & reels (โพสต์และคลิป Reels) > Scheduled (กำหนดเวลาแล้ว).

To change the time later: go to Content > Posts & reels > Scheduled, find the post, click the ... icon > Manage post > Reschedule post, choose the new date and time, and confirm. The same menu also lets you edit the post, move it to drafts, or delete it.

On a phone, use the Meta Business Suite app. Tap Content on the bottom bar and choose the type (Posts, Reels or Stories). Tap Create, add text and media, and tap Next. Then tap Schedule for later, choose the date and time, and tap Schedule. See it in Planner. On the phone, Meta says you need at least partial access and must be assigned to manage the Facebook and Instagram accounts. Meta also says the mobile experience may not be available to every account yet.

As Facebook's help page states on 30 Sep 2026, a Page post can be scheduled from 20 minutes to 29 days ahead.

Schedule an Instagram post in the Instagram app

As Instagram's help page states on 30 Sep 2026, you need a public Instagram account. You can schedule up to 25 posts a day, up to 30 days ahead. A scheduled post keeps the privacy and audience settings you had when you scheduled it.

  1. Tap Create (top left, or swipe right in Feed), then tap Post or Reel.
  2. Pick a photo or video and tap Next.
  3. Add a caption, effects or filters.
  4. Tap More options.
  5. Turn on Schedule this post (or Schedule this reel) and choose the date and time.
  6. Tap Done, then Back.
  7. Tap Schedule.

To manage what you scheduled: tap your profile > Menu > Scheduled content. Tap Options next to the post, then choose Delete, Edit post, Reschedule or Share now.

One thing sellers should know: Instagram says some features are not compatible with scheduled content at this time. They are product tagging, collaborative posts, sponsored posts and fundraisers. So a post that needs product tags has to be posted at the time, not scheduled.

You can also schedule Instagram posts in Meta Business Suite, using the steps in section 1.

Schedule a TikTok post on the web, on a computer

TikTok's help page "Schedule video" (read 30 Sep 2026) describes only the TikTok website on a computer:

  1. Log in to your account on the TikTok website on a computer and click the Upload icon at the top of your feed.
  2. Upload the video you want to schedule.
  3. After uploading and editing, turn on the schedule switch and choose a date and time. (The time zone follows your computer's setting.)
  4. Click Schedule.

The notes TikTok gives on the same page:

  • Only a Business Account, or an account with 10,000 followers or more, can use desktop scheduling. (TikTok For Business's blog says you can change your account type under Settings > Account.)
  • You can schedule from a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of 10 days before publishing.
  • Scheduled posts show in your profile view. They cannot be edited, but they can be deleted. (The same blog says to delete the post and upload it again if you need a change.)
  • The feature is not available on TikTok's mobile web.
  • When the scheduled video is posted, you get a push notification in the app.

If you want to schedule from a phone: the page I read does not describe scheduling inside the TikTok app. Check whether your app's upload page has the option. TikTok can change rules like these; if your upload page shows something different, follow what it shows.

The three side by side: where to set it, what you need, how far ahead, whether you can edit

Every cell comes from that platform's own help page, read 30 Sep 2026.

Before you press schedule, check these 4 things: the post goes out as written

A scheduled post goes out with the text you wrote when you scheduled it. On Facebook and Instagram you can change it before the time; on TikTok you cannot. That text may no longer be true on the post date. Check four things before you press schedule:

  1. Do the photo and the caption fit each other? Put the caption under a different product. If it still works, it does not yet talk about your product. (The swap test is in sales captions that fit the photo.)
  2. Are the price, stock, order cut-off time and delivery days still true on the post date? If you scheduled days ago, look again.
  3. Is the picture the right size for that channel? The size for each channel is in product image sizes for each platform, 2026.
  4. Are your followers online at that time? Use Meta's Active times as a start. There is no one best time for every shop; it depends on your followers.

Two bottles of lychee drink sit in a red ice chest full of ice cubes. Made with GenLabs.

Gloss. Scene: "This Friday, take the ice chest to the party. This bottle needs to be chilled cold." Item: "Lychee drink, 300 ml per bottle." Message: "Message us the number of bottles." Why it passes check 1: the ice chest scene follows what the picture shows. It has one fact (the 300 ml printed on the bottle) and one next step (message us). Checks 2 to 4 you must do against your own shop.

If you schedule several posts a month, plan the whole month in a table first, then schedule one row at a time. The template we made is in free content calendar template, with one month of Thai example posts.

Schedule Facebook, Instagram and TikTok posts in one place with GenLabs

If you would rather not open three places, GenLabs schedules posts to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook from one place. In the app you can:

  • Connect your social accounts once.
  • Pick a photo or video from your Library.
  • Schedule a post for later, or post now, for supported accounts.
  • Let an AI draft the caption (the app calls it "คำบรรยาย AI"), then check it with check 1 in section 5 before you schedule.
  • See how the posts did and answer messages in the shared inbox.

Social publishing is part of every plan. The Startup plan is ฿599 a month and connects 1 social account. The Pro and Business plans connect unlimited accounts.

What scheduling cannot do: limits to know

  • It cannot pick the best time. We have not tested which time brings more orders. Meta's Active times only says when followers were online in the past 7 days.
  • It cannot fix a wrong post. A scheduled post goes out as written. If the price, stock or promotion changed after you scheduled it, you must go back and change it yourself. On TikTok you cannot edit; you delete and upload again.
  • Each platform's rules can change. The numbers in this article are what the help pages said when I read them on 30 Sep 2026. They are 20 minutes to 29 days, 30 days, 25 posts, 15 minutes to 10 days, and 10,000 followers. If your scheduling page shows something different, follow that page.
  • This article does not cover Facebook Groups or Stories. Both schedule differently from a Page post.
  • GenLabs schedules only to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. For other channels such as Shopee, Lazada and LINE, you download the file and use it there.
