Google Flow is Google's AI tool for making video clips. Google's credits page says a free account gets 50 credits a day, and the Google AI Plus plan at ฿189 a month adds 200 more a month (from Google's pages as of 29 September 2026). GenLabs works differently: it starts from your product photo and makes images and 10-15 second videos with an AI presenter who speaks Thai, and you never write a prompt. Plans start at ฿599 a month.

If you want cinematic clips, control over every scene, and a lower price per clip, Flow fits better. If you want a Thai post that is ready to publish from your real product photo, GenLabs fits better.

What Google Flow is and what it does

Google calls Flow its "AI filmmaking tool". You describe a scene in text, or give a start frame and an end frame, and Flow makes a short clip [G1]. From Google's help pages:

  • Several ways to start a video: from text, from a start and end frame, from reference images Google calls ingredients (for example a character or a product you want to look the same in every clip), and by editing a video you already have [G3, G4].
  • Clip length: 4, 6 or 8 seconds with the Veo 3.1 models, and 4, 6, 8 or 10 seconds with Gemini Omni Flash [G3].
  • Images: create and edit images in the same tool, to use as the starting point of a video [G3].
  • Flow Agent: a built-in helper that brainstorms, refines prompts and generates images or video for you. Asking the Agent does not cost credits at the moment, but there is a daily quota, media the Agent generates still uses credits, and it works on the web and computer only [G6].
  • Voices and your own avatar: add one reference voice so a character sounds the same in every clip, create a custom voice, and make an avatar of your own face and voice by scanning with your phone [G4, G7].
  • Output: download the file, share a link, or publish to YouTube [G8]. The pages we read do not mention scheduling posts to TikTok, Instagram or Facebook.
  • Where and who: Thailand is on the list of supported countries, users must be 18 or older, and Thai is one of the supported languages. Google also writes: "we recommend using English prompts" for the best results [G5].

Is Google Flow free?

Google's credits page says it is free for 50 credits a day, but Google's other pages disagree. The credits page says: "With or without a subscription, you receive 50 Google Flow credits per day", and Google's Thai plans page lists Flow under the free plan as "limited access to Nano Banana Pro" (Google's image model), with no mention of video [G2, G9]. The getting-started page says you must be "subscribed to Google AI Plus, Google AI Pro, or Google AI Ultra" [G1]. We read all three on 29 September 2026 and did not sign in to test.

Before you pay, sign in at flow.google.com with your Google account click your profile picture at the top right, and look at the credits under your profile information [G2]. If you see 50 credits, you can try it free on your account.

The limit Google states for accounts without a plan: at peak hours, roughly 2 PM to 5 PM UTC (9 PM to midnight in Thailand), you may not be able to generate video, but you can still create images and use the Agent [G2].

Google Flow prices in Thailand, and how many credits one clip uses

On Google's Thai plans page, Google AI Plus is ฿189 a month with 200 extra Flow credits, AI Pro is ฿750 with 1,000, and AI Ultra starts at ฿3,500 a month with 10,000 or 25,000 credits [G9, G2]. Monthly credits do not roll over [G2].

Plan (Google's Thai page) Price per month Extra Flow credits per month
No plan (per the credits page) ฿0 50 a day (do not roll over)
Google AI Plus ฿189 200
Google AI Pro ฿750 1,000
Google AI Ultra ฿3,500 or ฿7,500 10,000 or 25,000 (the Thai page does not pair them; the credits page pairs them in dollars: the $100 plan 10,000, the $200 plan 25,000)

Credits per generation depend on the model and length (plans other than Ultra) [G2]:

Model and length Credits per generation
Gemini Omni Flash 720p, 10 seconds 15
Gemini Omni Flash 720p, 8 seconds 12
Gemini Omni Flash 360p, 10 seconds 7
Veo 3.1 Lite, 8 seconds 10
Veo 3.1 Fast, 8 seconds 20
Veo 3.1 Quality, 8 seconds 100

Our arithmetic: a 10-second Omni Flash 720p clip costs 15 credits, so 50 free credits a day is about 3 clips, Plus's 200 credits is about 13 clips a month, and Pro's 1,000 is about 66. If you divide the whole plan price by the clips, Plus comes to about ฿14 a clip (฿189 ÷ 13), which overstates the cost, because the credits page says subscribers also get the 50 daily credits, and the plan also includes storage and other Google features.

These numbers can change. Google says costs change often and to check the latest under "Settings" at the top right of the prompt box, and it does not charge credits for a failed generation [G1, G2]. A Flow plan sold by a page or shop for less than Google's own price is not Google's price; we have not tested any and quote only Google's pages.

GenLabs prices and what you get

GenLabs has three plans, paid by card with monthly renewal or by PromptPay once for 30 days [N1].

Plan Price per month Credits per period Social accounts you can connect
Startup ฿599 80 1
Pro ฿1,990 400 unlimited
Business ฿4,990 1,600 unlimited

A standard image uses 1 credit and a 10-15 second video uses 15 credits [N1]. Scheduling posts to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook is included in the plan and uses no credits [N1]. Plan credits do not roll over [N1].

New sign-ups get a free trial of 10 credits, with no card needed [N1].

Our arithmetic from the /pricing numbers: if you spent every credit on 10-15 second videos (plan price ÷ credits × 15), Startup is about ฿112 a video, Pro about ฿75 and Business about ฿47. The same credits also make images, so your real figure depends on your mix. Per raw clip, Flow is clearly lower. GenLabs's price also covers the work after the clip, such as AI captions and scheduling; the next table separates it.

Can Google Flow speak Thai?

The Google pages we read do not say how Flow's Thai speech turns out, and we have not run Flow ourselves, so we cannot answer that yet. What those pages do say: Thai is one of Flow's supported languages, Google recommends English prompts, and the voice examples in its help pages are in English (a voice named "Andrew", a "New York accent") [G4, G5].

What we checked ourselves on our own clip, 29 September 2026: the shoe video on the genlabs.in.th homepage is 10 seconds, 720x1280, and a woman speaks Thai throughout. We transcribed it twice with two separate jobs (two different transcription tools) and got the same sentence: "แมรี่เจนคู่นี้น่ารักคลาสสิก ดีไซน์น่ารักแมตช์ง่าย เดินทั้งวันก็ยังสบาย สายคาดปรับได้พอดีเท้า พื้นนุ่มเดินมั่นใจ คู่นี้แหละต้องมี". The Thai text on the screen ("แมรี่เจนคู่นี้ น่ารักคลาสสิก") has its tone marks and vowels in the right places.

To check Thai speech in any tool in five minutes: ask for one line of 8 seconds or less that includes your product name, listen for whether the tone words in the name sound the way a Thai person says them, and read the on-screen text letter by letter.

When GenLabs is not the best choice

  • You want cinematic clips, scenes or stories that are not about a product. Flow has start and end frames, reference images, the Agent, clip extension and video editing [G3, G4]. Our pages describe product images and short product videos, not that kind of work.
  • You want to control every shot. Flow lets you pick the model, length and reference images yourself. GenLabs writes the prompts for you, which is less work and less control.
  • You want the lowest price per raw clip. On the numbers above, Flow costs several times less per clip than GenLabs.
  • You want to try free and get a video straight away. On Google's credits page a free account can make video (except at busy hours), while GenLabs's free trial is 10 credits and a 10-15 second video uses 15.
  • You want your own face and voice in the clip. Flow has avatars made from you [G7]. Our pages do not list this.
  • You want to upload to YouTube from the tool. Flow has that button [G8]. The channels GenLabs lists are TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

When GenLabs fits

  • You have a real product photo and want a Thai post without writing a prompt. Send a phone photo, pick a direction, and GenLabs writes the prompts and makes the images and video [N2].
  • You want images, video, captions and scheduling in one place. Schedule to TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, see the results and reply to messages in one app [N2].
  • You work from your phone. GenLabs works in a mobile browser [N2]. Google says Flow's strongest editing features are on a computer and other browsers and mobile devices are not fully optimized [G1].
  • You want it fast. Our site says a set of images or a video takes 2 minutes [N2].

Try both with the same photo

It takes under an hour and you decide from your own product:

  1. Pick one product photo (a phone photo is fine) with a label you can read.
  2. Flow: go to flow.google.com with a Google account, pick Omni Flash at 10 seconds, add the photo as a reference (Google suggests a product on a plain background [G4]), write one prompt, and note your credits before and after.
  3. GenLabs: add the same photo, write nothing, pick a direction, and note your credits before and after (a 10-15 second video uses 15 credits).
  4. Compare four things: does the label and the product's shape match the real one in every frame, is the Thai speech right, is every letter of the Thai on screen right, and how many minutes and credits until you have a file you could post.

If one result clearly fits your job better, use that one.

Frequently asked questions

Is Google Flow free?

Google's credits page says a free account gets 50 credits a day, and at busy hours (about 9 PM to midnight in Thailand) accounts without a plan may not be able to make video. Google's getting-started page says you must subscribe to Google AI Plus, Pro or Ultra. The two pages disagree (read 29 September 2026), so check the credits on your own account before you pay.

How much does Google Flow cost in Thailand?

Google AI Plus is ฿189 a month (200 Flow credits), AI Pro ฿750 (1,000 credits), and AI Ultra starts at ฿3,500 a month (10,000 or 25,000 credits), from Google's Thai plans page on 29 September 2026.

Can Google Flow speak Thai?

Google lists Thai as a supported language and recommends English prompts. The pages we read do not describe the quality of Thai speech, and we have not run Flow ourselves, so test it with a short line that has your product name in it before you rely on it.

Do you have to write prompts in Google Flow?

You describe the scene in text or give reference images. Google suggests naming the subject, action, environment, lighting and style, and the Agent can help refine prompts and start generations (the Agent works on the web and computer). GenLabs needs no prompts, and gives you less control over detail.

How does GenLabs count credits?

A standard image is 1 credit and a 10-15 second video is 15 credits. Startup is ฿599 with 80 credits, Pro ฿1,990 with 400 and Business ฿4,990 with 1,600 per period, and plan credits do not roll over. New sign-ups get a free trial of 10 credits (prices from /pricing, 29 September 2026).

Can GenLabs replace Google Flow?

For work that starts from a product photo and ends as a Thai post, yes. Not for cinematic work that is not about a product, or when you want to control every shot. See "When GenLabs is not the best choice".

Try it with your own product photo. No card needed.
